Lost Province Center for Cultural Arts has received $7,500 from the National Trust for Historic Preservation through the Johanna Favrot Fund for Historic Preservation. This funding will kickstart a market feasibility study that will guide LPCCA's business plan. The total cost of the study is $42,000 and we're currently working to secure other monies to fund this critical study. Thank you to Blue Ridge National Heritage Area for performing a market analysis and feasibility study for the Preservation of the Historic Lansing School as a venue for teaching traditional Appalachian arts and crafts, revitalizing the economy of the Lansing community, bridging the urban/rural divide and promoting and preserving culture, arts and skills of the Southern Appalachian region.
