The topography of both the immediate and surrounding area of Lost Province Arts is hilly. For the foreseeable future, we will be using the classroom building, which built in 1952 is not ADA compliant. Should you have special needs, please contact us prior to registration so that we may accommodate your needs to the extent possible. Our contact information is below.
Alcohol is not permitted in the studios, rental areas or public areas, unless under specific arrangement/licensure for an event. The use of illegal drugs is prohibited. Firearms are not permitted on campus, individual licenses notwithstanding.
The entire campus is designated non-smoking, inside or outside. Smoking is not allowed inside any building and there are no indoor or outdoor smoking facilities.
Lost Province Arts is not responsible for the security of property belonging to students, guests or instructors.
Lost Province Arts is not responsible for injuries sustained as a result of improper or careless use of studio tools or equipment.
Students and instructors are not permitted to have pets on the property. Service animals are an exception.
Cell service is marginal at best, but if you have a signal, we ask that conversations take place in private. No cell phone use in studios during class or at other group gatherings, including but not limited to events.
Lost Province Arts reserves the right to dismiss any student, without a refund, for behavior that is disruptive to the community living and learning environment and to refuse future registrations from such student.
Our classes are small and intimate and may fill rapidly, so we recommend you register as soon as practical. You can also register to be on a waitlist for class that is full. Cancellations do happen, so don’t hesitate to check on availability. Registering early gives our instructors time to prepare and gives you time to acquire supplies, if required.
Classes without a minimum number of registrations may be canceled, and should this be the case, fees will be 100% refunded.
Once students are accepted into a class, cancellation fees apply. Cancellation or transfer more than 30 days prior to the first class period results in a cancellation fee of 10% of fees. Cancellation or transfer within 30 days results in a cancellation fee of 25%. No tuition refunds will be made after the start date of a class. Registrations are non-transferrable.
Payment is expected at time of registration. Registrations are not transferrable. A fee will be charged for returned checks.
While we make every effort to verify accuracy, class descriptions are provided by instructors, who are independent contractors, and cannot be warranted by Lost Province Arts.
Students in classes typically use material in the making of their projects. Because the amount of materials used will vary by student, materials fees are NOT included in the tuition amount, unless specified in the official class description. Upon registering for a class, you will receive an estimate of these additional fees on your invoice, along with a list of materials the instructor requests you bring to class. Payment (by cash, check or credit card) for materials purchased from the instructor or Lost Province Arts is required on the last day of class.
