Beginner Quilting
You will learn how to pick fabric, how to properly cut fabric, how to sew a straight line. You will leave the class with a throw quilt you have completed. Class prerequisites: You must know how to sew on a sewing machine, thread a machine and run a bobbin. Fabric and Pattern are provided.
Advanced Quilting 2
Not for the faint of heart, this class will challenge your skills in new ways including working with smaller pieces. Pattern and immediate supplies (not fabric) are included in the price. Students will received and email from their instructor upon registration to help them select the fabric they will need. As with Advance 1 class prior knowledge or prerequisite classes are highly encouraged.
Wool on Cotton
This class is handwork, no machines. We will trace our pattern and put on wool then on the background. Embroidery skills are good if you have them. If not, I will show you the stitches you need to sew this pattern. I lover Wool on Cotton and cannot wait to share this skill with other!
Intermediate Quilting
This 4-day class will take your basic skills to the next level with advanced cutting and piecing skills. Must know how to sew on a sewing machine, thread a matching and run a bobbin. Pattern is provided. As this will be a scrappy quilt, some fabric is provided but students will want to bring some additional fabric to make the design their own.
Know Your Machine
This class is for anyone 15 and up to learn about a sewing machine includes keeping it clean, threading it, running a bobbin and sewing on the machine.
Advanced Quilting 1
This 4 day class will take your skills even farther with more intricate cutting and piecing skills.. The Pattern is provided, students will receive an email from their instructor upon registration regarding how much and what kind of fabric they will need. Students must know how to sew on a sewing machine, thread a matching and run a bobbin. Prior knowledge or intermediate quilting class as a prerequisite is highly recommended.
