Kevin Little
LPCCA has also hired Kevin Little as Program and Events Director. In this part-time position, Kevin will work closely with our amazing group of instructors and the board to continue to bring you new and exciting arts courses throughout the year. Kevin comes to us most recently from a position with the State of NC. Previously he had a long career in Retail Management, Logistics and Planning. Kevin is also a local Artisan, Musician and Ashe County Native who attended our own Lansing School. He is very excited to preserve our building, arts and crafts and culture for future generations.
Mike Edwards
Mike is a veteran of the United States Air Force. While in service he studied archaeology and anthropology at Riverside City College. These studies piqued his interest in pottery. After earning his degree and his subsequent return to coastal North Carolina, he was able to study advanced level pottery at ECU. Mike later moved to Carteret County and set up a studio for their community college. He moved that studio to Morehead City Community Center when the college underwent remodeling and alterations. He is a carpenter and homebuilder by trade. Out of pottery for a long time, he returned to it after moving here to Lansing.
