Lost Province Community Center, in the historic Lansing school, is currently open for donation pickup Wednesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm. CJ's Community Market, also inside the school, has non-perishable grocery items available during these hours. All of these supplies are available to our neighbors at no cost thanks to generous donations from all over. Please come get whatever you or your neighbors need.
It is our hope to be able to expand hours so that those with work/school conflicts are able to make use of our services once again. To do this we will need community support. Below is a list of donations that would enable us to do this. If you or anyone you know can meet any of these needs please reach out to us at lostprovincearts@gmail.com or use the links below to donate. We are unable to accept donated goods at this time. Please check back for updates
To all of our neighbors: we see you, we hear you, and we welcome you.

Southern Appalachia has a diverse food shed with a rich farm-to-table tradition steeped in a long history of self-sufficiency. A fully equipped educational kitchen utilizing locally-sourced food will celebrate the culinary arts of the region.
Ola Belle Reed, one of the founders of bluegrass, was born in Lansing, NC, the Center’s home. We’ll honor her contributions and the music of Southern Appalachia with class offerings including music, storytelling and songwriting.
