Mara Burdick, Chair/CEO

Mara Burdick brings expertise in project, program and portfolio management to LPCCA. She is highly skilled in these disciplines, holding certifications in both Project and Program Management from The Project Management Institute. With 20+ years experience, she has successfully managed corporate strategic portfolios and delivered multi-year and multi-million-dollar programs for a large non-profit healthcare system in the southeast. Additionally, Burdick brings leadership expertise, with experience developing and deploying strategic imperatives to achieve company mission and vision in collaboration with others, from team members through executives. Burdick is an accomplished negotiator and networker and routinely bridges gaps in understanding between groups. She resides just outside of Charlotte, NC with a second home in Ashe County for the past 11 years. Burdick affectionately refers to Ashe County as her “happy place” and she is passionate about the sustainability and economic development of the area so that other generations may enjoy it.
