Vendors/Artisans: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Dog Day Event: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Costume Ball for dogs and will start at 1:00 p.m. There will be "best costume" for three categories: Light-Weight; Middle-Weight; and Heavy-Weight
We will also host a Tail-Wagging Competition, a Whipped Cream Eating Competition, and a Dog/Owner look-alike contest!
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations.
This event will feature and promote the High Country’s vibrant community of regional artisans, with a focus on a culture rich with traditional Appalachian craft, craft demonstrations.
If you are a local vendor interested in setting up at Lansing's Dog Day Afternoon, Lost Province would love to support you! To apply, complete LPCCA's Craft Fair and Art Crawl Event Space Application. Given the “dog theme” in the afternoon, any products you have related to dogs should do well with this captive audience. If some aspect of your craft can be demonstrated on site and you’d like to do so, please let us know!
Gather and listen to live music from local musicians and singers throughout the day! We will have refreshments and encourage picnicking!
